The Savvy Seniors performances have been a popular training model in Vermont. This toolkit contains prop lists, skit material, scene design, suggested materials and structure, etc., so that you can organize your own performance troupe in your state. Also, translation to Hindi is included. Savvy Seniors performances lead to audience interaction, volunteer socialization, a better understanding of the issues and risks, etc.

MSN Guide: How to Read Your Medicare Summary Notice was initially developed with the help of the Indiana Medicare Partners to assist in reading and understanding the (now) quarterly statement received by each Medicare beneficiary that lists health insurance claims. It has been updated to include information about Medicare's prescription drug plans. The MSN Guide is distributed to Medicare beneficiaries and others at health fairs and presentations and is also used for SMP Volunteer Training purposes.

We prepared a "Rack Card" for distribution at outreach events in the fall of 2007 in partnership with our SHIP concerning Potential Medicare Fraud Issues re: Part D Prescription Drug Plans and Part C Medicare Advantage Plans. We have a variety of cards on different issues - we print them on different colored cardstock to facilitate distribution.

This Press Packet is a compressed zip files that includes eight files: a packet cover, two press releases from the Nevada Office of the Attorney General, a city of Las Vegas press release, a "What is the Nevada Medicare Express" sheet, a tip sheet on protecting personal information as the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan begins marketing, and two flyers advertising where to get additional help and the calendar of events.

The Tier II Integration SMP grant in CA has produced the attached Consumer Fraud patient information sheet. It will be distributed through Walgreen’s Drug Stores. Walgreen’s estimates a distribution of over 100,000 sheets to Medicare Beneficiaries between September 29-October 28. The sheet includes large print, inviting graphics, contact information, and tips to prevent fraud.
