Calendar of Events

The SMP Resource Center hosts web events for an SMP network audience. The Resource Center’s SMP Web Event Calendar provides details regarding each SMP web event, including registration information. The calendar is searchable in the SMP Resource Library and is also in the library on the “News” tab. In addition, the SMP Web Event Calendar is sent to the SMP listserv each Monday. About Ongoing Center Web Events

Brief descriptions of ongoing and recurring Center web events are provided below. For details, see the SMP Web Event Calendar.

VRPM Orientation: This recurring event is intended for new coordinators of volunteers, new trainers of volunteers, and any SMP project directors or ACL staff who wish to attend.  

Mentor Calls: Monthly mentor calls are held the second Tuesday of every month at 11:30 a.m. ET and 3:00 p.m. ET. 

SMART FACTS Training Series: This five-part recurring series provides training on how to enter and edit data and view reports in SMART FACTS. Each two-hour session includes a presentation and hands-on practice. Participants can attend one session, several sessions, or the entire series.  

Using the SMP Resource Library Webinar: This recurring event provides training on how to use the SMP Resource Library. All Resource Library users are invited to attend.

VRPM Training Series: This Volunteer Risk and Program Management series is available to SMP project directors, coordinators of volunteers, and others SMP project directors wish to invite, such as partners who help train or manage SMP volunteers.
