SMART FACTS TrainingThe SMP Resource Center offers many SMART FACTS training resources, including a self-paced, online SMART FACTS training curriculum (below), in addition to a training curriculum document that guides participants through their training. This curriculum consists of training recordings and job aids (which are provided on this page) as well as the SMART FACTS Operations Manual. The SMART FACTS training curriculum and all of the corresponding training resources are available to anyone who enters or reviews data in SMART FACTS. The entire curriculum can be completed in order, or participants can choose to review any specific topic(s) as needed. The grid below provides access to SMART FACTS training recordings and handouts by topic. Note: Handouts include SMART FACTS job aids, PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) and other resources that correspond to the training recordings. SMP directors may edit the PowerPoints as needed to train SMP staff, subcontractors, volunteers and partners. The job aids are NOT intended to replace the thorough reporting and policy guidance provided in the SMART FACTS Operations Manual. SMP directors must be familiar with the more detailed and comprehensive information about SMART FACTS found in the manual, including how it is used to meet SMP program objectives (see the SMART FACTS Operations Manual, chapter 1).
