SMP Foundations Online Training
SMP Foundations Online Training allows participants to take the
training at their own pace, on their own schedule, from any location
that has Internet access. This training provides an interactive
experience and includes online versions of classroom activities.
Participants should allow 4 to 6 hours to complete the entire online
course, including chapters 1-3 and the SMP quiz review game.
Online training instructions and a time tracker are provided below in
the Online Training section, along with a technical guide to make sure
participants and their computers are ready to take this course. Links to
the SMP Foundations Training Manual and assessment are provided in the
Resources section below. Other handouts and links to online resources
are provided directly in the online course.
Note: The Administration on Aging
funded the development of this online training from the 2009 version of
the SMP Foundations Training Manual.
