SMP Foundations Training
SMP Foundations Training has been developed to provide SMP volunteers
and staff with a foundation of knowledge in three main content areas:
the SMP program, Medicare basics, and Medicare fraud and abuse. Click

The SMP Foundations Training Manual provides information and
resources about the SMP program, Medicare, and Medicare fraud and

SMP Foundations Online Training allows participants to take the
training at their own pace, on their own schedule, from any location
that has Internet access. |

Foundations Training Kit (Classroom Materials) |
The SMP Foundations Training Kit provides resources for trainers to
create an interactive experience for participants, including a
PowerPoint presentation, trainer’s notes, and classroom
activities. |
