Woman Pleads Guilty to Fraud

According to court documents, a woman owned and operated a physical therapy business that provided routine foot care (such as toenail trimming, ingrown toenail repair, and callus shaving) to patients in an assisted living facility. Knowing that the services were not covered by Medicare, she obtained payments by submitting claims that falsely described the services as wound care.
