Man Indicted for Role in Fraud that Deceived Seniors

A federal grand jury indicted a New Jersey man for using the purported nonprofit The Good Samaritans of America to defraud the Medicare program of more than $1 million by convincing hundreds of senior citizens to submit to unnecessary genetic testing. According to documents filed and statements made in court, he also used fear-based tactics and recruited health care providers. To read a Department of Justice press release, click here
