COVID-19 Medicare Scams Rise

The New York Alliance Against Insurance Fraud warns that fraudsters are offering “free” testing kits, vaccines, and supplies – promising Medicare will pay. It warns against phishing emails, robocalls, and door-to-door pitchmen aimed at seniors as well as pop-up street testing sites, visits to senior centers for “tests,” and bogus hotlines.
